The selvedge jean has finally dropped having been tested in the real world for the last year.

This selvedge is woven on a 30’ inch loom with a red selvedge.

These like all raw denim will shrink so we have ensured that there is enough room for this to happen and still allow a turn up to reveal the selvedge.

Allow for shrinkage of 1’ on the waist and 1’ on the leg, if you do want to get them tailored then ensure you wash them first so the shrinkage can happen.

This is a straight leg jean with a slight taper, It fits slightly wider than our raw jean as we believe it should be worn slightly fuller.

There is our usual rope insertion to add structure to the rear pocket and promote fading, we also added a chain loop to attach keys or a wallet, on the front left pocket. There are further selvedge details on the button fly and the coin pocket. The cotton used for the pocket bags is a heavyweight hickory stripe in blue/cream.

Something to be aware of - a disclaimer.

Our products are manually dyed in natural indigo. Every item is handcrafted and will vary in colour or look. No chemicals have been added to fix the colour, thus crocking/transference may occur.

So please be aware that the blue may stain other textiles, leather or skin whilst it’s worn.

General wear, use and washing will fade the colour and gain its unique appearance reducing the risk of this.
